More Pictures from Gramma and Grampa's

There is nothing new to report this week, only that everyone in the house seems to have caught a cold.  The Daddy has a cough, the Mommy has a sneeze, and the little one thinks she has both.  So instead of posting pictures of tissues and such, here are some more pictures from Gramma's at Christmas.
This is the munchkin monster after she had devoured all of the munchkin donut holes in the house.....

After wandering around LL Bean, Ava and Daddy decided to take a break.

This was the beautiful light house we went to see with Gramma and Grampa

And yes it was very, very, very cold...whose idea was this anyways?

and the best part of Gramma's and Grampa's?  Ava got to play outside in the snow.
There is one thing new, I have decided I will most likely never use another cookie sheet for making cookies ever again.  For Christmas I was given a pizza stone and decided to try using it for baking cookies on.  I was not sure what to expect since it is called a pizza stone, but the directions said it could be used for baking as well.  Well I followed the directions, warmed the stone in the oven, placed the cookie mounds on it and baked for 12 minutes, the result was perfect cookies.  They were not flat or hard, they had baked up and stayed round and moist and retained heat from the stone so they were warm long after being removed from the oven. I will never use a cookie sheet for cookies again, the pizza stone is my new best friend.

Ava and Meka at Christmas

A short and sweet post containing babies and puppies, what more could you ask for?

We recently returned from a two and a half week trip from Saca, ME.   The three of us went to visit Gramma and Grampa.  Ava had a blast playing with Meka, Gramma and Grampa's puppy.
See Grampa my kisses are better, I don't drool anymore...

Who else could get Gramma to lay on the floor???

Hey, I was here first lady!! Let me on the bed, I can play too!!!

Fine, I will make you play on the floor with me then!!!

Eventually I believe that unknown to the adults in the house, the tiny toddler and very large puppy were working together to achieve the ultimate attention.
Okay Toddler here is what we are going to do....
I told you my plan would work, you get to play with that Uncle Bradley of yours and I get the big comfy chair
Success!!
